She took another sip of her drink. When he hadn’t taken his eyes off her, she smiled and asked, “What?”

“You think we’ll end up married someday, too?”

“Absolutely,” she said, leaning over with a wicked smile. “You’re stuck with me forever, Eric Diego.”

God, he loved her smile. “Is that right?”

“Yep, or I’ll sic my brothers on you.”

Eric laughed. “Like anything could ever keep me away from you—remember even they couldn’t?”

“How can I forget?” She held out her glass. “To forever.”

He clinked it with his beer bottle, then kissed her. “To Forever.”
