I wanted so badly to ask if that was the first time he’d ever given a girl oral sex, but I knew better. As much as I wanted to believe it was, I knew it wasn’t. Lynda had made sure of that.

“Was that…” I stopped myself. Why did I even start to ask?

“Yes,” Josh said with a smile.

I shook my head, confused. “Yes? Yes, what?”

“Yes, that was the first time I’ve ever done that,” he said as he blushed.

“That can’t be true!” Why in the world would he lie to me?

“What?” he asked.

“Well…I mean, Victoria said she used to have oral sex with you all the time, and Lynda said you used to—”

Josh pulled back and sat up. “Lynda said what? And when the fuck did she talk to you about us?”

Oh shit. “Josh, you know…none of that matters now. It’s you and me forever, so whatever you did before me isn’t important.”

“It’s important to me, Heather. I just told you I’ve never given a girl oral sex, and you’re basically calling me a liar.”

“No, I’m not!”

“Then, tell me what Lynda said.”

Oh god! How did this perfect moment turn into a disaster? Oh yeah, when you opened your big mouth, Heather! I smiled and leaned over toward him. “Josh, I don’t want to ruin this moment by talking about Lynda or anyone else.”

As he turned away from me, he grabbed part of the blanket, covered himself up, and looked out at the river.

Fuck me. I took a deep breath. “Lynda used to send me text messages or sometimes emails. She would describe how y’all would have sex in the car, bathtub, at a park one time…” I started to shake my head. I really don’t want to think about this. “She told me your favorite thing to do was…was…”

Josh snapped his head back to look at me. The expression on his face was pure horror, like someone had just told him the worst news of his life.

“Um…she said it was you giving her oral sex. She said you first did it at Jeff and Ari’s wedding.” I felt tears stinging my eyes.

Josh’s jaw dropped. “When?”

I felt a tear slide down my face. “I just fucking told you when!” I got up and started to reach for my clothes to get dressed.

He grabbed my hand and pulled me back down. “When did she tell you all this? When was she sending you these texts?”

“Ever since we’ve been together,” I said in between sobs.

“Oh. My. God. Heather, why didn’t you ever tell me?”

He moved me onto this lap, and he began stroking my hair as I cried harder. All those months of holding it in and not telling him, all the built-up anger and jealousy…it was finally being released.

“As God as my witness, Heather, none of what she said is true. None of it. I never did anything like that with her.”

“You didn’t give her oral sex at Jeff and Ari’s wedding?”

“You’re the first girl I’ve ever done that to! I never had sex with her in a bathtub or in a park. None of what you just told me is the truth. Heather, she was just lying to you, princess. Oh fuck! I’d like to go break her fucking neck for hurting you all those months.”

I buried my face into his neck. For some odd reason, I was so relieved. I knew Josh had been with lots of girls in the past, but to hear details from one was just pure hell.

“If she ever calls or texts you again, please tell me, Heather. I want us to be one hundred percent honest with each other. Promise me?”

I pulled back and looked into his eyes. I love him so much. “I love you…more than I love anything in this world.”

He placed his hand on my stomach and smiled. “Not for long!”

I let out a laugh.

He kissed me so softly and sweetly on the forehead. “I have one more thing to ask you.”

My heart started beating faster. Victoria.

“What did Victoria say to you?” he asked.

I closed my eyes. “The first day when you woke up, I was in the restroom with Amanda, and Victoria came and told me how much you loved getting a blow job from her.”

He placed his finger under my chin and pulled me toward him. When I thought about where those lips had been, I wanted so badly to pull away from his kiss…but I couldn’t.

What started out as an innocent kiss quickly turned passionate.

Once again, we were completely lost in each other.

Chapter Twenty-Nine

I held Heather in my arms while she slept. My mind was racing with a million different things. So much had just happened in the last five hours. I’d gotten my memory back, I’d found out I was going to be a father, and I’d gotten engaged. I’d also found out my two ex-girlfriends were nothing but bitches. If I ever saw them again, I would give them a piece of my mind. I could just unleash Ari on their asses.

I slowly ran my finger up and down Heather’s side. Her skin felt so amazing. I wanted nothing more than to wake her up and make love to her again.

I smiled as I thought about everything she had done to keep Tori’s claws from getting into me. She’d taken a leave of absence from a job she loved, and she’d moved in with my parents just to be near me. That last one alone meant she would be getting the wedding of her dreams.

“What are you thinking about?”

I smiled as the sound of her voice moved through my whole body. Damn, the things this girl does to me. “How I want to give you the wedding of your dreams.”

She moved and put her hands on my chest. Resting her chin on top of her hands, she smiled at me.

My heart dropped to my stomach. “If you only knew what your smile does to me…or when those beautiful blue eyes of yours look into mine.”

“Oh yeah? What do they do?” Her smile grew.

“They make me weak in the knees. I feel like I’ve just hit a dip on an old country road while going seventy miles an hour, and it just takes my stomach away.”

Her eyes instantly filled with passion. She got up and crawled on top of me. When she slowly started to grind against me, I let out a laugh.

“I don’t think he can. After last night, this morning, and just a bit ago…you’ve exhausted him.” I sat up and took her into my arms.

She laughed and hit my back. “You know what I want to do?” She nibbled on my ear.

“What? I’ll do anything you want.”

“I want to go tell your mom and dad that we’re getting married.”

I pulled back and smiled at her. “Yeah?”

She nodded and smiled. “Yeah! How do we break the news to them about being grandparents?”

I started laughing. “Hey! You never told me when the doctor said your due date was.”

The blush that covered her cheeks caused my dick to jump. Why does that turn me on so much?

“Well, I kind of said that I thought I knew when we’d conceived the baby, so…” She giggled as she blushed even more.

“How do you know?” I asked, shocked.

“Oh shit! I didn’t tell you.”

While she told me about how all the medicine she had been taking when she was so sick had caused the birth control pills to not work properly, I started daydreaming about her holding a baby girl in her arms.

“So, that’s the due date they gave me,” she said.

“Wait. What? I didn’t hear the date.”

She let out a laugh. “Did you hear anything I just said?”

I smiled, and I kissed her again. “Yes, ma’am, I did, but I got carried away, dreaming about you holding our little girl.”

“We’re due on September seventh.”

I smiled as I felt my dick getting harder. I gently took her off my lap, laid her down, and rolled on top of her. “He’s ready.”

She grinned from ear to ear as she wrapped her legs around me, and we made love again.

By the time we packed everything up, I sent Jenny a text, telling her she’d knocked yet another one out of the ballpark. I was ready to get to my parents’ house. I was excited to tell them that Heather and I would be getting married, but I couldn’t wait to see my mother’s face when we told her about the baby.

“Jen said to just leave it all, and she and Aaron would come and pick it up. You ready to head back?”

Heather smiled and nodded as she got up on Rose. The whole way back, we talked about the wedding. Heather admitted that she was worried about what her school administration would think about being pregnant and not married. We decided that she would take the rest of the year off and go back next fall…if she wanted to. I had a feeling the moment she saw that baby, there would be no way in hell she would want to leave our little girl.

“How soon do you want to get married?” I asked.

She smiled and bit down on her lower lip.

I let out a moan as I watched her nibble on it. “Princess?”

She turned to me. “Yeah?”

“Stop biting your lip.”

She let out a small laugh and looked straight ahead. “Right away. Since Ari and I are both due in September and Amanda’s getting bigger by the day, I want to get married right away. The sooner, the better! What about you?”

“I’d marry you today if you said you wanted to.”

We talked about our ideas for a wedding. We’d never really talked about marriage before, but I wasn’t surprised to see we wanted the same thing—something small near the ocean with just family and close friends.

When we made our way up toward the barn, Ari was leaning up against the door with a smile.

“Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, I thought y’all got lost.” She winked at me and then glanced over at Heather.

“Nope, not lost at all,” I said with a wink of my own.

“Pregnancy makes you feel like the damn fucking Energizer Bunny, huh, Heather?”

I glanced over to my girl to see that she was blushing. I laughed, and I had to adjust myself as I got off the damn horse.

Jeff came walking up and slapped me on the back. “Congratulations, dude…on getting your memory back and landing the girl of your dreams.”

I smiled as we headed into the barn. “Where’s Luke?”

Jeff turned to me and laughed. He opened a stall door a little and gestured for me to look in. Luke was sound asleep in his car seat.

My heart melted at the sight of him. “Right where he belongs—in a damn horse stall like his daddy.”

Jeff laughed. “Dude, he said ‘dada’ the other night. I about came out of my skin. It was one of the best moments of my life.”

I watched Jeff as he stared at his son sleeping. Shit. The four of us have come so far. Then, it hit me. We are all going to have kids. “Holy shit.”

Jeff looked at me, confused.

“Jeff, by next fall, we’re all going to have kids!”

He threw his head back and laughed. “I know, right? Hey, have you seen Brad?”

“Not yet. He was supposed to be meeting with his counselor and Amanda today, right?”

“Yeah, he was. Has Heather heard from Amanda?”

I shook my head. “Not that I know of.”
